Wow, this was so helpful. Someone at church was recommending the Screwtape Letters, but he just doesn't know. I was the same way, because I got those books from my church, and because Lewis writes with a cloak of fantasy (which was really witchcraft) I didn't see that in the books, as a teenager, and new Christian. I will have to share this with him. I heard about C.S. Lewis a few years ago 2021, with one of your emergency alerts. In my readings this morning I noticed an interesting phrase used over and over through scripture. It concerns the day we call Sunday. The name for that day is never used in scripture. Genesis 1:5 calls it “…the first day”, in Hebrew “yom”. But the new testament verses that refer to that day, the day we call Sunday, the verses people try to use to say the day ordained by God for corporate worship was changed from the 7th day Sabbath to the Sunday, everywhere from Matthew 28:1 to 1 Corinthians 16:2, all say “…the first of the week”. The word “day” was not included in the original text but was added later by those who translated scripture from Hebrew to English. The “first of the week”. It doesn’t even say “day”. It is intentionally vague. The “first of the week” could mean “near the first of the week”, even Monday or Tuesday. We call those days “near” the first of the week. The Bible never uses the word “Sunday”, ever. And nowhere in scripture is there instruction given, by God or man, to “forget” worship on Sabbath and begin worship on Sunday. Romans 16:17-19 says “Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice over you. But I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil.”. It warns against things “contrary” to what they had been previously taught. If they were previously taught to keep Sunday and remember it as Gods chosen day, where were they taught it? Where are we taught it? The teaching to keep Sunday is a teaching of the catholic church, plain and simple. You will find the teaching nowhere in Holy Scripture. If you claim to follow the teaching of the Bible and the Bible alone, and you keep Sunday as your corporate day of worship, you are inconsistent. The Bible teaches to “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy”. The 7th day Sabbath, not Sunday. It’s not even mentioned in the Bible! Blessings as you study God’s Word.

this is after almost a decade of listening to this video that is trying to disparage the bible. we are actually a decade nearer to the predicted enforcement of sunday which is in fact identified in the bible as the mark of the beast. the prediction is that most so called christians like the brother in this video are going to be lost unless they repent after it is enforced. at that time there will be only two sides. those who are for god and those for the devil. there will be the persecutors and the persecuted. you can also see this is a persecuting video. notice that it isn't just disagreeing but rather demonising. not because of anything being said in opposition to the bible but because of not wanting to hear truth from the bible. right now sunday is being introduced and promoted currently as the climate change day of rest. this will eventually be enforced under penalty of death where you will not be able to buy or sell unless you bow and pay homage to this pagan idol. if you don't believe this will happen just watch this space.

This entire UA-cam series that has been put together needs to be listened to. Case in point, I moved to a new city and went to a new reform church on Easter. The entire message really spoke to me UNTIL the pastor quoted a character from Lord of the Rings to quantify scripture. I was so taken aback by this, knowing that the Lord of the Rings is permeated with sorcery and the like. I then went home and did my research and found out that C.S. Lewis and Tolkien were good friends and were in agreement on things. Further, I find out through research that many reformers uphold, write their thesis and discuss C.S. Lewis on religious panels to sing his praises. This ought not to be. Simply put, what does light have to do with darkness. this hole sabbath issue is something i want answers to because, i can see that the Adventist church is cult like and just weird but at the same time the hole Sunday worship, as being false, makes sense too, not as the mark, but just as a sabbath day. The truth is, our calendar is not of God and our history is so distorted with very little evidence, plus, we dont have an anchor point in time to go from so we cannot possibly know for sure when Gods original sabbath day was.

I am sda and proud of itAny religion that forces Sunday worship is evil. The ten commandments clearly state that Saturday is Sabbath. God rested on the 7th day and told us to keep it holy. Saturday has always been the seventh day. The correlation between forced Sunday worship and taking the mark is clearly visible. The whole difference between free will,gods gift and forced will Satan's tool is clear. The seventh day Adventist church I know has never endorsed immorality. Jesus clearly states in the Bible that we aren't here to judge others. The story of when he was bought a woman who was caught in the act of adultery and he told the Pharisees to cast the first stone if they were free of sin comes to mind. I don't agree with homosexuality or immortality of any kind . We have manner sinners in our church in fact everyone in the congregation. We don't condone their actions but we try to bring them to God and his teachings. The Bible is as definite about worshipping false gods and breaking the Sabbath as it is about sexual immorality. The Pope is endorsing facial recognition and fingerprint recognition as a way of keeping a record of all and their tax s . The most powerful religion in the world is endorcing it. A technology that will see us unable to buy anything without this technology. Satan works in slow subtle wayssAlso the richest religion who has used force to get what they want throughput history. We believe there will be many faiths in heaven. Jesus bought us righteousness by faith and salvation by faith. Ellen White should never be put ahead of the Bible. We are encouraged to study the Bible daily and to pray often. Not to many cults encourage their members to study the Bible the book all Christians base their faith on. It saddens me that people don't study more to get a complete picture. I pray for all to come to God .

I fail to know one time the devil told anyone to study scripture fervently, hold it up above any human teaching and to obey all God's law in purity. 1. Show me what the mark of the beast is from scripture. 2. Tell me from the bible how believing that there is battle between Christ and Satan that has been going on throughout the ages, and believing that the final conflict will be between worship to God or man is demonic and will send you to hell. 3. The bible says there will be prophets in the end time that will say things that have never been said before just like ALL the prophets of old. NONE of them were in the canon of scripture when they spoke including Christ Himself. Christ was murdered because He spoke things they believed to be blasphemous and outside of scripture. "You who stone the prophets" be careful that in looking for false ones you don't like the Pharisees make the mistake of murdering the true ones. The end is near and God never let His people face disaster without sending a prophet to send words of guidance and warning specifically for that time. So show me from the bible that their will be no new prophets in the end time that will say things that have never been said before just like in the bible. As Ellen White says, study for yourself. Don't throw out messages from the Lord just because some angry man put himself in the place of God and told you he has decided you're going to hell if you believe there is a great conflict between Christ and Satan that has been going on through all the ages and that you believe the final conflict will be between who you will worship, God on the day He asks or Man on the day he commands. Sun-day, the day of sun worship. Sun worship is the oldest form of idolatry that God has never stopped having to deal with. That's not adding to scripture, that's just history if you want to look it up. The day of worship is not an issue until it is mandated that you HAVE to worship on the day the country tells you to. Then you must take a stand and pick a side. The end events will polarize people so that there cannot be fence sitters anymore. I fail to see what about believing this could send you hell. God will be angry if you believe he wants you to keep His day holy and that it's important? He will be angry if you believe that keeping ALL his commandments are important? He will be angry if you resist mandates that command you to break the law of God? “Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of God and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12 God's commandments ARE important. ALL of them, including the only one that says "remember". Remember the Sabbath day as if it would be forgotten. As James says in paraphrase, "as the body without the Spirit is dead so faith without deeds is dead, you think you will be saved merely by believing in God? Good for you, even Satan does that. He who breaks one commandment is guilty of breaking all of them." There is a focus on the day of worship because no one is contesting the other 9, no normal person thinks you should be able to murder and sleep with someone else's spouse. It's the 4th that shows your allegiance to your creator and that you do it on the day he asked simply because he hallowed that day at Creation and asked you to , and you do because you love Him. It's the one that shows WHY you keep the other 9 "for in 6 days God created the heavens and the earth." But you're only judged by God's law on this once you have the knowledge. God does not condemn someone who didn't know. But we will be condemned, the bible tells us, for shutting out truth willingly. So if we are mandated to worship on man's day by force, than it is wrong, God does not accept worship by force and I fail to see how anyone will go to hell for believing that. But you are certainly not a deity to make such claims against God's people. May God forgive you for your unrighteous judgements. Anyone to say they believe a certain belief is incorrect and prove it from scripture. But to say you know man's heart and who specifically is going to hell is a serious claim. "Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful." 2 Chronicles 20:20

I'm not SDA. Saturday is the seventh day of the week and is God's Sabbath. The Catholic church moved God's Sabbath to Sunday. The Catholic church is satan's church, therefore Sunday is satan's sabbath
